I was born in Tacoma right here at Madigan Army Medical Center. And now, after a life overseas in Panama, Peru, and elsewhere, I’ve come full circle to where I belong: growing a family here in Pierce County and applying to serve you on the charter review commission. I’m a new father of an 2 year old son who will grow up and go to school right here in district six, so the success of your family is just as important to me as the success of my own. 

My return journey started when the military bases in Panama closed in 1999. My family left and I returned to the U.S. to go to college, completing undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and English at University of Florida and masters degrees in Health Administration and Film Production. I learned how to think critically, write clearly, and navigate bureaucracy, skills which I believe are necessary on the commission.

I’ve been very fortunate- I’ve followed my passions and started my own successful Film Production business doing what I love and I’m involved in the community. I’m an active executive board member of the Tacoma Pierce county chamber of commerce and I’ve advised the state on how to increase business with minority and women owned firms to help them succeed.

I find purpose in public service. Advocating for you is what I was put here to do. Support me and we can write the rules for a safe, vibrant, and beautiful  community we all envision. We’re in this together.
